From Milanese street legends to former fashion icons and decorated veterans, our pigeons bring together decades of experience, questionable career choices and an unwavering commitment to frozen dessert logistics.
They don't just fly. They deliver with passion.
Patrick — “The Milanese Don”
Patrick was once a small-time luxury drug dealer who spent his glory days cruising around Milan in a Lamborghini, wearing sunglasses and a gold chain.
His career came to an abrupt end after he was arrested for aggravated pimping. After a few years of enforced retirement, Patrick decided to turn his attention to something more respectable: premium gelato transportation.
Today, he claims to have completely turned his life around. He still demands to be paid in cash, refuses to remove his sunglasses indoors, and somehow always knows where the nearest Lamborghini is.
Looks: A muscular, heavily tattooed pigeon wearing oversized sunglasses, a massive gold chain and the unmistakable attitude of a nightclub boss.
Josiane — “The Flying Diva”
Josiane was once an internationally renowned fashion model. Paris, Milan, Dublin — she had walked them all.
Her modelling career came to a spectacular end during a long-distance flight when her breast implants suddenly exploded mid-air. The incident was highly publicised and, unfortunately, left Josiane with prominent scars across her chest.
Since then, finding stable employment has been difficult. Fortunately, Josiane has found a new career in gelato logistics.
She remains convinced that she is still “between modelling contracts” and refuses to discuss the incident with the press.
Looks: An extremely glamorous pigeon with dramatic makeup, ridiculously oversized lipstick, elegant styling and visible scars on her chest from her unfortunate mid-flight implant explosion.
Maurice — “The Old Guard”
Maurice is a decorated military veteran who spent decades in active service. After finally retiring, he expected to enjoy a quiet life and a well-deserved pension.
Unfortunately, his pension wasn't quite enough to maintain his lifestyle, so Maurice began taking gelato delivery jobs on the side.
He knows every air current between Cork and Briançon, refuses to use GPS and considers modern pigeons to be hopeless amateurs.
At the age of 78, Maurice still insists that he is “in better shape than the young ones”.
Looks: A tough old pigeon wearing a perfectly fitted military kepi, shoulder decorations, numerous medals and a stern expression. He stands bolt upright at all times and refuses to admit that his wings hurt.
